Ethics review is on the rise for insects used in research in the UK. How should entomologists think about integrating 3Rs (replacement, reduction, and refinement) into their practice?
These quick videos are aimed to help entomologists understand the 3Rs in their practice - and can also be shared as resources with ethics committees (AWERBs, IACUCs) to help them better understand the unique ways that the 3Rs can intersect with insect biology compared to traditionally reviewed vertebrate research.
